We have recently concluded our year-end evaluation of files that were closed during 2009. In connection with cases where we asserted claims on behalf of our clients, we helped recovered a total of $5,837,142.42. In cases where we represented our clients in defensive matters or questionable claims, we were able to help save our clients $35,683,735.69. This resulted in a cumulative monetary benefit to our clients in the amount of $41,520,878.11. Obviously results vary depending upon the case and ultimate resolution. Geezer Trot
Johnston Legal Group (JLG) will host a 5-K fundraiser benefiting I.M. Terrell Elementary School in the near future. Donors/Sponsors will be asked to donate one dollar for every second Mr. Johnston’s total 5-K time is under half his age (27.5 minutes).

Retired
Johnston Legal Group is announcing the retirement of Terry E. Shell from the practice of law.

Mr. Shell came to Johnston Legal Group with extensive experience in estate planning and probate, business entities, real estate, and family law. Prior to over twenty years in private practice, Mr. Shell was general counsel for the Texas Central Railroad Company and the Gorman Peanut Company.

Terry will always be a part of the Johnston Legal Group family and we wish him well.
